Oklahoma QB Austin Kendall apologizes after errant pass hits cheerleader at spring game

Oklahoma football’s spring game on Saturday took a bit of a sour turn when a pass from quarterback Austin Kendall wasn’t exactly on target.

Kendall, who is competing with quarterback Kyler Murray for the starting job this fall, inadvertently hit an Oklahoma cheerleader in the face with a football when one of his passes sailed out-of-bounds. The frightening moment from the game was caught on video by KFOR’s Dylan Buckingham:
