Ohio State RB Has Dog Stolen, Returned

“COLUMBUS — The father of Ohio State star running back Ezekiel Elliott says someone stole the family’s dog Monday morning.

Stacy Elliott says he woke up early Monday to feed their dog Chase when he discovered the young Alaskan Malamute-German Shepard mix was gone.

Then Elliott says his heart sank even further when he discovered someone had cut through the dog’s fenced-in enclosure. He’s filed a police report and now Elliott and his family are holding out hope.

“Maybe someone with heart can be touched to bring Chase back home to his family,” Elliott said. “Whoever took him, for whatever reason, there are no ill feelings, but just return him.””

Thankfully there’s an update to this story as the dog was found chained to a fence, but with little other information on how the dog was found.

Good guy Ezekiel Elliot ultimately decided not to press charges against the perpetrators.

This is actually the second time Chase has been abducted. Let’s home Elliot gets his dog microchipped and this doesn’t happen again.
