No. 7 Oklahoma To Face No. 2 Baylor In Day One Of Big 12 Championship Tournament

The seventh-seed Oklahoma Sooners, 33-21 overall and 11-13 in Big 12 play, will face the second-seed Baylor Bears, 33-15 and 14-18, in the first day of the double elimination Big 12 Championship at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, home of the Oklahoma City Dodgers, in Oklahoma City Wednesday at 4 p.m.

OU is 1-2 against Baylor this season following a three-game series April 12-14.

Starter Cade Cavalli is expected to start today’s game. Cavalli is 5-2 with a 2.93 ERA and 54 Ks.

Players To Watch for OU:

1B Tyler Hardman: .308 AVG, 6 HR and 42 RBIs

3B Brylie Ware: .300 AVG, 6 HR and 35 RBIs

C Brady Lindsly: .279 AVG, 5 HR and 33 RBIs
