No.1 Seed Oklahoma State Hosting No. 3 Seed Nebraska Or No. 2 UConn In Day Three Of CWS OKC Regional

The No. 1 seed Oklahoma State Cowboys, 38-18 overall and 2-0 in the OKC Regional, will host the No. 3 seed Nebraska Cornhuskers, 32-22 and 1-1, or the No. 2 Connecticut Huskies, 37-24 and 1-1, in the CWS OKC Regional at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, home of the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The game starts at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Starter Joe Lienhard will most likely start for OSU. Lienhard is 3-1 with a 4.73 ERA and 37 Ks.

Hitters to watch:

CF Trevor Boone: 2-for-5 with the go-ahead two-out, three-run home run in the ninth inning against Nebraska in Saturday’s game.

DH Bryce Carter: 1-for-4 with a RBI double against Nebraska in Saturday’s game.

LF Carson McCusker: 2-for-5 with a solo home run¬†against Nebraska in Saturday’s game.
