NBA Suspends Schröder, Felton; Will Miss Tonight Against Kings

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The NBA has announced that Oklahoma City Thunder back up point guards Dennis Schröder and Raymond Felton have been suspended one game for the altercation Monday night against the Chicago Bulls.

Schröder and Felton left the bench during the scuffle which is against NBA rules.

Robin Lopez was fined $25,000 for escalating the situation while Jerami Grant was fined $20,000 for his part. Kris Dunn was fined $15,000 for starting the altercation.

The Thunder will now be without a backup point guard tonight against the Sacramento Kings. Billy Donovan will now be forced to use Paul George as a secondary ball handler as well as Alex Abrines and Terrance Ferguson.

Abrines has had point guard minutes sprinkled sparingly throughout his career. Ferguson experimented with point guard duties last July in Summer League in an effort to expand upon his play making abilities.

George has played 1012 minutes total this year. 616 of those minutes have been with Russell Westbrook on the floor. 253 of his total minutes have had both Westbrook and Schröder on the floor.
