Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher was resigned to the fact that his team was going to lose a talented player to the Vegas Golden Knights with the upcoming NHL Expansion Draft rapidly approaching.

Teams submitted their list of protected players at 4 p.m. Saturday. Those lists were announced to the public at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Teams can only lose one player in the NHL Expansion Draft and the Golden Knights will announce their roster at the NHL Awards…
