Hawks Get Pounded By Pistons

ATLANTA — Kyle Korver said it best to a late-arriving crowd Tuesday night at Philips Arena just before tip off, describing the Hawks’ franchise-record 60-win season of a year ago and all that came with it as simply, “amazing.”
What transpired in the two hours and 11 minutes after Korver’s brief address to the crowd was anything but, save for a few glimpses of the team that rolled last season with a cosmic flow on offense and a relentlessness on defense.
