Former OSU running back Chris Carson makes NFL Top 100 list

The NFL’s annual Top 100 players ranking is here and a former Oklahoma State Cowboy has already made the ranking.

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson was named the 96th best player in the NFL on Monday, making him the only former OSU player on the list so far.Carson, a 2017 seventh round pick, utilized his physical run style to rush for 1,230 yards last season and compile 7 touchdowns. He also showed his versatility as a receiving back last year with 266 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns.

“Definitely the toughest running back that people don’t talk about,” Arizona Cardinals defensive end Corey Peters said of Carson. “Seattle runs a pretty vanilla scheme and the yards he gets, he earns.”

Carson played his final two college seasons at OSU and compiled 1,374 total yards and 14 touchdowns in his time there.
