Fletcher Cox is in midseason form for the Philadelphia already, and he only played a series.

On the Eagles second play of the preseason, Cox beat All-Pro David DeCastro for the sack on Landry Jones. Safe to say Cox is is midseason form after this play.

The hit on Jones shook him up a little, but Cox wasn’t done. On the next play, Cox made a tackle on a 3rd-and-long screen. Cox was out of the game soon after, but returned later in the game.

Two tackles and a sack for Cox on three plays. Not bad.

Cox is one of the greatest defensive tackles in Philadelphia Eagles history, already having three All-Pro selections and a Super Bowl title to his resume through six NFL seasons. Cox is determined to be great, so winning a championship isn’t enough to satisfy his appetite.
