Class 3A BOYS Power Rankings – 12/26/16

Class 3A BOYS Power Rankings – 12/26/16

Last HS basketball season, I set out to rank every team in every class in the state of Oklahoma. After a few tweaks, I’m back with power rankings this season, including for girls basketball. The power ranking is a combination of the OSSAA coaches poll and a performance based rating with 3 factors.

  1. What class your opponent is in.
  2. Whether the game was home, away, or neutral site.
  3. Whether or not your opponent is ranked.

Games against non-OSSAA teams are not included in the calculation, and each rating is an average against games played, so if a team hasn’t played many OSSAA schools or had a long football season, their rating may be a bit skewed early on.

  • Rankings reflect games played before 12/25/16
