BREAKING: Cowboys Pick Up Another Defensive Commitment in Harper

For the second time in as many days, Oklahoma State football picked up another commitment on the defensive side of the ball. Thomas Harper, 5-11. 170-pound corner/athlete from Karns High School in Knoxville Tn, committed to Oklahoma State this morning.

Harper, younger brother to current Cowboy Devin Harper, was offered on June 6th and made the announcement official on The Robert Allen and Friends Show on Triple Play Sports Radio before he took to Twitterto make the announcement, “First, I would like to thank GOD for all the blessings he has given me and allowing me to play the game I love. Next, I would like to thank my Family and friends for being supportive of me during my recruitment process and for all the sacrifices and time given up so I can chase my dreams. I also would like to thank my coaches and trainers for pushing me to be the best player I can be and investing their time in me. With that being said, after much prayer and thought I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Oklahoma State University.”

Harper, listed by 247Sports as a two-star prospect came in and had an impressive run in two camps at Oklahoma State. He participated and was one of the top defensive back in the Cowboys minicamp on Sunday, June 3 and then came back against elite players and was strong in “The Show”…
